MAY 18 12PM-4PM PST
A nourishing day of online education, community, and inspiration for boudoir photographers.
-
The Boudoir Salon is an annual online mini-conference brought to you by Misty Moss, featuring workshops from industry leaders and innovators.
Educators are encouraged to present workshops on whatever subject feels the most alive in them — meaning the workshops are always pertinent, heart-felt, and full of impact.
-
Conferences can often be cost-prohibitive, with high travel prices. At the boudoir salon, we bring next-level breakthroughs, community support, and creative inspiration right to your couch, kitchen table, or patio.
Though the replay is available, part of the magic is experiencing the salon in person. Soaking up the chat and comraderie of your fellow industry peers. Come for the education, leave with a sense of connection + community.
-
This is for anyone within the boudoir sphere. Seasoned photographers, new photographers, prospective photographers — anyone on their journey of running a boudoir business.
THE 2026 ROSTER

In this talk, the audience will learn how to craft an email to manage one of our biggest objections: "I need to lose weight first" and in doing so, will take away a formula to apply to many other objections and help our clients commit to themselves.
Create With Light Without Fear
by Hannah Rachael
This class is for anyone who feels a little intimidated by lighting or like it just hasn’t fully clicked yet. If you’ve ever found yourself relying only on natural light or overthinking where to even start, you’re not alone. We’re going to simplify it together in a way that actually makes sense.
Inside this session, we’ll walk through how to see light, shape it, and use it with intention without making it feel overwhelming or overly technical. We’ll work with both professional lighting and everyday sources like lamps and practicals, so you can start creating beautiful, intentional images no matter what you have around you. The goal is to help you feel more confident and relaxed when it comes to lighting. To trust your eye, understand what you’re doing, and start creating more depth, mood, and emotion in your work without second guessing yourself.
This is meant to feel supportive, easy to follow, and honestly a little freeing. Lighting doesn’t have to feel scary or complicated. It can feel natural, creative, and completely yours.
The Seduction Method: Using self-portraiture, sensuality, and self-expression to magnetize your dream clients
by Misty Moss
Turn your self-expression into your most powerful marketing tool. By becoming your own muse, you build trust through embodiment, and turn self-expression into bookings. In this workshop we will dive into how a 20 year self-portrait practice has helped me be a better boudoir photographer, embodied leader, and even a better sales person. Because your body image & money blocks have more in common than you think, and so does showing up in front of the camera and magnetizing your ideal client to you.
As boudoir photographers, we can only lead as deeply as we have gone ourselves. So, are you ready to go there with me? To lead through embodied action, to heal your own relationship with being seen, and to build deep trust with your audience through self-expression and self-healing.
This isn’t about taking pretty selfies (the same way boudoir is more than pretty pictures).
It’s about becoming the living breathing proof of what you sell.
The Overflow Principle
by Brina Lynne
Introducing… The Overflow Principle A transformative course for photographers + creative entrepreneurs who are ready to build businesses that flow with abundance. Whether you’re behind the lens, behind the chair, or behind a brand, this course will teach you how to create a business model infused with generosity, one that feels good, works with ease, and calls in more success than you can imagine.
A new paradigm for success in business, rooted in generosity, alignment, and abundance. You’ve been told success comes from hustle. But what if it’s actually born from generosity? Not the draining, people-pleasing kind of giving. But the expansive, soul-filling generosity that flows from you and circles right back, bigger, bolder, and more abundant every time. This is the energy of overflow. And once you learn how to infuse it into your business, everything changes.
THE INSPIRATION
In a world dominated by men, the salon was where women ruled — much like within the boudoir industry.
Born in 16th-century Italy and thriving in France during the 17th and 18th centuries, salons were intimate spaces where women exchanged ideas, inspired one another, and explored art and philosophy. These gatherings were hubs of creativity and empowerment, allowing women to shape culture and ideas in ways society often denied them. The tradition continued to thrive in Italy throughout the 19th century, creating a timeless legacy of shared education and intellectual camaraderie among women, and eventually expanded to include all genders.
Boudoir photography, like the salons of the past, is predominantly a woman-led industry. It’s a space where women are reclaiming their power—not just as muses, but as artists, storytellers, and wildly successful entrepreneurs. Boudoir photographers create environments where clients can explore their identities, challenge societal narratives about beauty, and rediscover their relationship with themselves.
That’s where The Boudoir Salon comes in—a reimagining of the salon tradition, designed to offer accessible, inspiring, and practical education. Here, we create a space for camaraderie, collaboration, and shared wisdom, led by some of the brightest minds in the boudoir photography industry. It’s not just about learning techniques or business strategies—it’s about becoming part of a larger legacy using our art and businesses to create safe, transformative spaces for ourselves and our clients.
